Yvette R. Simpson, Esq./MBA, is a lawyer, executive strategist, media contributor, author, realtor and national speaker. Nicknamed the “Queen of Reinvention,” Yvette helps leaders unlock their power to change the world in small and large ways. She is the founder and CEO of Yvette Simpson LLC, Your Power Unlocked, a strategic consulting, speaking and training firm focused on executive and political strategy, communications, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Yvette is also a Political Contributor with ABC News and a panelist for NPR. She is a licensed lawyer who serves as Director of Culture & Belonging for UB Greensfelder. Yvette previously served six years on Cincinnati City Council, including four years as President Pro Tempore.

Active in her local community, Yvette has served and continues to serve on several boards and commissions, including the Board Chair for MORTAR. She was named a YWCA Career Woman of Achievement, a Top 100 Influencer by the American City Business Journals, a Woman of Influence by Venue Magazine, a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio and a Woman Who Means Business by the Cincinnati Business Courier.

She is married to cartoonist Joe Hoffecker and bonus mom of three daughters: Katie, Maggie and Annie.
